  • Wow, long update due. *cough*

Well, for starters, our house got struck by lightening!
    We're lucky it didn't start a fire.
And, we found out it also caused a gas leak.

Well, let me tell you the story,
Our family was across the street watching a movie with our neighbours.
All of a sudden, there was a flash of light and a very loud "pop!".
My dad went back to our house to check on everything.
Everything seemed fine, until he went into my parents bedroom, heard a sound like "psh",(i know, i'm bad at describing sounds.) and there was also a circle on the wall about 1 foot in diameter. He also smelled something like natural gas.
Well, he figured out that freon( the stuff that cools air for the A/C.) had leaked and spread on to the wall.
So, there was literally a frozen spot on the wall.
Later, we found out we also had a natural gas leak, something else that easily could have started a fire.
We also had a some electronics go dead because of the lightening.
Everything is pretty much back to normal now, and I have an awesome story to tell.

I guess that's it for this post, I might have more to say about it later, and I'll answer questions, too.

stay inspired. (and be glad that i'm still alive. )

  • Lately, I've been playing around with a program called the GIMP.
    It's pretty cool.
It's a like a more basic, easier to use, free version of photoshop.
I've been using it to touch up some of my photos, and just messing around with it.
There are some sites that have tutorials for it, and teach you how to do some pretty cool stuff.
I found a tutorial that shows you how to take any photo, and make it look like a screenshot from a hollywood movie. Here's one example(this is a picture I took, and edited myself.):

    Before

    After

    Yeah, it's awesome.
